This balancing act is not only good for juniors of all ages but can really perk up a group of adults as well. Have the participants stand behind one another slightly less than an arm’s length apart.  Have the last person in the line stand at about an arm’s length from a wall.  Then, on command, all at the same time sit in each other's lap.  One thing is certain with this exercise, they’ll either all quickly succeed together or quickly fall down together. This may not exactly prepare youngsters for the balance skills needed in their sport of choice, but it will teach them a great deal about teamwork.
