 Wall Ball Print

There are many possible variations of this drill idea. The first variation of what we call “wall ball” is for the athletes (who stand about 8 feet away from a wall) to toss a Z-Ball against the wall and catch it with two hands. Then they may try catching with just the right hand and then just the left. Depending on the age and ability of the athletes, they may want to start out with a tennis ball before progressing to the unpredictably bouncing Z-Ball.

Another variation is to work with a partner and have the catcher start facing away from the wall and then spinning to catch.
